Sandy Trautwein is the Curator of Fish and Invertebrates at the Long Beach AQUARIUM OF THE PACIFIC. In addition to her duties as Curator, she also manages the Aquarium’s coral propagation and sea horse breeding program.  Trautwein and her team propagate corals and breed sea horses in-house for conservation and educational purposes. Her career in public aquariums began in 1984 at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, MD, then as a Curator for Coral World in St. Thomas. Sandy is currently studying for her Ph.D. in marine biology at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Sandy unveiled a coral propagation program to the hobbyists.

Julian had not spoken in Southern California since 1995.
